rear strut brace - not really needed?

what would happen if i removed the rear strut brace?

i know handling would be worse but would all the steering geometry and suspension be affected by it as well?

having a baby in march and trying to think of ways to keep it rather than get a bigger car lol

cheers
Ben

It does bugger all tbh on its own, it's just a body brace. Tashas car hasnt had one for about 6 months and absolutely no difference.

I guess that's down to less flex at the rear? I.e. the front brace does more because of the forces on the turrets when steering?

It's gonna reduce the amount of chassis flex or Nissan wouldn't fit it, it's just whether you drive it hard enough to notice a difference.

Oh sure I was just working out how it doesnt matter as much if you loose the rear brace.
