Rear strut removal

Due to having my dogs, Bullmastiff and German Shepherd having the rear strut brace is going to prove tricky with my dogs in there.........can it removed without anything terrible happening like the rear of the car falling in :lol:


On a serious note...... What will be effected if I remove the rear strut?

Non-GTi Almeras don't have the strut brace anyway. General consensus is that the rear strut brace doesn't do an awful lot, so it's not going to be noticeable if you remove it.

yeah if your not absolutely hammering it around or on a track, you wont notice it.

i put on my gt and the back end stiffened up a fair bit, and when really going for it the back end seemed to come out a bit more on lift off, but not a huge difference
