Rear wiper, sorry new to the Almera fraternity

Right, picked up my S plate Almera on Friday and loved every minute of driving it so far (apart from the sheer noise out of the zorst :( ).

One question though, did they come with a rear wiper as standard? I have the control on the right stalk, and the washer jet works but not having a rear wiper I can predict will be potentially annoying. Is it likely a previous owner removed the wiper and smoothed the panel? I had a quick look and couldnt see any evidence of it being smoothed.

Hehe.

Yeah I went to wash the back window and it sprayed the fluid over the glass and to my surprise nothing else happened. I pulled over, looked at the bootlid and was much surprised to not see a rear wiper. Ah well such is life :lol:

isn't it amazing what you miss when buying a new car :lol:
 
If you don't like it you could probably get a bodyshop to undo it! Or get the whole thing smoothed then sell/px it for a regular one, whatever takes your fancy!
 
Hehe, Im not bothered really, cant see eff all out the back anyway because of the tints.

I was thinking of reangling the nozzle so it jets out sideways rather than down... Ahem* :rolleyes:

an almera has a wiper, numberplate recess and a lock on the boot as standard. A lot of people relocate the plate to the bumper and smooth in the hole. same for lock and wiper.

If you wanted a standard bootlid a lot of people would be willing to px.
 
Ah this one has been smoothed then, the only boot release is the lever by the drivers seat, no lock on the lid and the wiper has definately been smoothed over. Number plate is still in the recess, which TBH I think I prefer there than on the bumper, so sorry chaps Ill be hanging on to the boot lid :P .

The car has the standard NATS RCL on it, does this incorporate an alarm? What would be nice would be a remote for the boot release but I can cope opening the drivers door to put stuff in the boot etc :rolleyes:

I've got some crappy pics here but will get some better pics at the weekend with a proper digital camera.

lol was thinking the same.. as prizma said get some more pics of your car up.. looks very nice!! liking that twin exhaust!
