saw one on a primers gt today, whats so special about em apart from being red? do they have some sort of following and also wud they fit an almera gti when they are off a primera as i know the distributor and everything was different.

cheers

Yeha i think they will Fit the 'Red' Rocker means it is the High Port SR20DE which is slightly more powerful than the one in the Almera GTI think they are a true 150bhp as ours are like 140-5 ish

it was a 2.0e gt model older type but fully loaded i.e grey leathers etc. looked quite smart worst thing is though they are breaking it.

Any thing rare on these engine wise that i could use for my gti?

or anyone else want anything?

the above is the newer primera gt,

this was an old n-reg one

2.0e GT

Yeah I believe the eGTs had red rocker covers. You'd probably be better off asking over on NPOC to see if they want any parts :)

Yea eZX and eGTs have red covers. Garnz, they are on high and low port engines and no they don't have 150bhp, they have 150 metric HP (PS) which is about 148bhp.

They polish up well :)

You can fit them to an Almera but really shouldn't as they don't have an oil separator built in like the RR covers. That's why the non roller has the black separator on the front.

i'm putting one of these engines in my almera at the moment and have purchased a brand new rocker cover for it from Nissan. looks awesome.

only 50quid, greg vogel also has them listed on his site for i think its 120dollars delivered. But i got a bargain cos my local nissan said they had had it sat for years.
