Not too bad at all,you can buy kits with all the bits you need!

Can you or anyone else reccomend any kits?
What are the ones on ebay like? They seem pretty cheap, but maybe they are for a reason

if the car already has central locking, its a lot easier. have look on ebay but remember my motto. "You buy cheap, you buy twice"

:D

Yeah my gti has central locking but it isn't remote.
Something i miss from my old car :(

As Rowdy said, if you have a GTi, it will be remote central locking as they all have NATS v2.0 in. Have a word with Nissan, they will be able to supply some fobs and re-program it, but dont expect it to be cheap!

Your right its not cheap! £170 for the parts, since i don't have the remote i apparently need a full new alarm system. That doesn't even include reprogramming the parts to work wioth my car. Bunch of robbing bastards, i tried to explain that he could find which system was in by looking at the reg and or chasis number but he wouldn't have it!!
