Removing o2 sensor ??? help.....

I have been trying to remove the o2 sensor from my Almera Sport plus and can't get a normal spanner into it as it is under the manifold. Does anyone know if there is a particular knack in removing it ??

Take the heat shield off and remove the rad. Tis dead easy then.
