depends what paint its on with as to what thinners will also remove it! but to be honest.
but a standard cellulose thinners generally will remove the lot, itll only make the colour fade behind so if your repainting then it doesnt matter just dont kill the lense part
Respraying in Silver from Blue but would rather not go over the blue.
Rears were not paint before blue therefor back to normal, grille was painted std (bergundy i think) therefor probably needs both but at least blue taking off.
Reckon should just spray over the top? Would rather not with silver being the lighter colour.
i was going to comment about just takign the shine off and sprayign tehm with wet flat - but because it is the lights then the layers will end up to thick and start to build up to the light lenses!
your better off stripping it back as you thought - and burgandy is the original colour so you will need to plastic primer it first
plastic primer = plastic
etching primer = bare metal
standard primer = over paint thats been sanded back
