Replacing drivers side headlamp

Hi guys, i need to replace my headlight after lending my car to the ex wife and somebody reversed into her! There's a lesson to be learnt here!!! Anyway just need some pointers from the experts as ive bought a new light and just need to fit it.

Thanks

remove indicators via the tiny screw visible once opened bonnet, use flat blade screwdriver to carefully prise indicator off there's a ball socket in the headlight side bottom corner becareful as its brittle, once removed theres two 10mm bolt headed screws (use a socket its easier) then two 10mm nuts on the opposite side give these a generous squirt with wd40 and carefully and I mean carefully undo (these are the buggers that are renowned for shearing off) once these are off wiggle unit forward undo wiring and your done, refit is reversal of removal. job done, put feet, up whack kettle on, have a nap

crikey.....if those bits do break then what? if all goes according to plan is headlamp beam going to need looking at by a garage?

If you have access to another car and a wall/garage door, mark the beam pattern out on there and copy it on your new headlight
