Resetting almera air bag light

So guys I was in an accident. Air bag deployed. Vehicle repaired and air bag changed. Now the air bag light in dash won't come off. It doesn't blink. Just remains solid on forever while vehicle is on. How to fix??

Hi. Depends what type of car you have.

N15 chassis (before 2000) just turn the ignition to 'on' with drivers door open and press the button at the bottom of the door frame 5 times within seven second then ignition to 'off'. May have to do it twice.

N16 chassis (after 2000) is a bit more complicated, I'll search for it.

N16..

HOW TO CHANGE SELF-DIAGNOSIS MODE WITHOUT CONSULT-II
From User Mode to Diagnosis Mode
When a malfunction is detected, activate the Diagnosis mode by turning the ignition switch as follows:

3) Wait more than 3 seconds.
4) Repeat steps 1 to 3 three times.
5) Turn ignition switch “ON”.
SRS will not enter Diagnosis mode if no malfunction is detected.

From Diagnosis Mode to User Mode
After a malfunction is repaired, switch the ignition “OFF” for at least one second, then back “ON”. Diagnosis
