Reversing camers and others

Hi all,
I'm new to the site so hello to all and a thousand thank you's to whomsoever can help.
Firstly, an "is it me" moment. I tried the links on "Stickys' posts re newbie read this first and AOC membership and none worked.
Secondly, I have an Almera Tino 54 plate with the "S" trim level. The next level up (SE I think) has a reversing camera which presumably shows what you are about to bimp into on the dinky screen in the dash. I would love that as it will save my rear bumper an awful lot of wear and tear! So, is it possible to fir the camera to the "S" version? If so, is all the wiring and connector there somewhere and where is it? How would I go about doing it? And once its is all in place (if it is possible) does the picture automatically appear when reverse is selected? Lastly, again if it is possible, any idea how much the camera would cost? Finally, any other advice is more than welcome.
I've had the car 2 weeks and, so far, I'm really pleased with it.

I suppose that if you were to find a suitable donor car in a scrapyard you could swap out the screen, wiring, sensors etc but it'd be a lot of work. On my old SRi I had an aftermarket reversing sensor system bought from ebay. It wired into the reversing lights and came with the hole cutter for the bumper, and a few choices of colour for the sensors.

Thanks for that.

I did wonder if it would all be too much. I initially thought that all the wiring etc would be there already as makers tend to put it all in and then only fit the bits to it according to the trim spec. eBay here I come then!.
