richbrook gear gaiter surround

hi i have just orderd a richbrook gear gaiter surround for my n15 has anybody else got one of these and what is the fit like

yeah got one on mine, not to bad fit wise take it you have a new gear gaitor aswell as you will need to cut the standard one.

Yeah I agree that the standard rubber gaitors look a tad shit - I'll be after getting a proper surround and gaitor fitted next year some time! How much do they cost roughly?

wot do u have to cut? i have orderd a aluminium surround and a silver carbon gaiter

you have to cut the rubber part that goes up the shaft as the surrond screws onto the existing part

ahh thats ok then better not throw out the existing one then. and price was
roughly

£30 for surround
£30 for gaiter
£25 for gear nob

I might look for a Gaiter for my hand brake

i wudnt mind a new hand brake leaver not sure if u can remove the n15 handbrake cover. maybe a sleeve one cud fit on it or something

some one put a sleeve over it on here. it looked pretty nice

i was lookin at them and the sleeves seemd alot shorter than the actual almera handbrake

all the hand brake sleeves that i found where shorter or looked a bit tacky
did you get the rich brook sleeve that goes between the leather and the gear knob ?
you get a much nicer finish using one of those
