rocker cover advice

rocker cover painted

hi all, just wanted some advice and even a few pics. i ended up sandblasting my rocker cover, primeing it then spraying it black. im tempted to colour the text either silver like the car or blue like the ht leads and induction kit . or do i just leave it.
ive got some stainless steel screws to replace the originals so i think the contrast of the blue would suit more. im spraying the manifold heat sheild aswell so dont worry when u dont see it.

well any opinion is welcome.... well almost

I'd paint the lettering white or silver to match the induction piping.

I would (and have) sand (sanded) the letters back to bare metal and then give it a few coats of laqcuer to stop the letters tarnishing:

Yea, Silver lettering sounds gooood with the black base.

ooooh, i like that, i might do tht tomorrow then instead, and if i dont like it i spose i can paint over it

i decided to go for silver, it looks pretty good, the painting wasnt ace, ive lost my touch since my youth and warhammer

ill post a pic when i fit it if anyone is interested

both look covers look mint well done lads! much better improvement than the original imo
