Hi again all, another stupid question from the idiot in the corner...
I'm looking to replace my rocker cover with a custom painted one, however I don't want to have to take the car off the road for the 48hrs for the paint to be properly cured etc before putting the thing back on, so I was going to pick up a rocker cover from a scrap yard and paint that one, and do a direct swap, then sell the current one on ebay or something (Its in good condition, just not convenient to remove paint and replace).
The crux of my post is this, will any SR20DE (or DET) rocker cover fit on the engine? It may seem like a stupid question but i just wasn't sure if there was any difference to the rocker cover based on model, or whether the engine was completely universal in all 2ltr nissans (of a certain age)?
