Rocket1's 'Mera GTi

Evenin' all. Names Chris, i'm from dundee and just recently swapped my 1.0 micra for stanis Gti. Ideal situation because i need a family car very soon and the missus is daft enough to believe thats why i got it.:lol:
Anyway i'll get a blog and that started but theres not much i want to do to it really, i love the feckin thing the way it is.

Anyway start off on a problem...
I replaced the battery in one of the key fobs and now none of them work, the red LED just flashes everytime i press a button. Ive searched the internet, even had a look at the thread on here that gives the combination you have to do. I swear on my life i followed it to a T, tried every different way just incase i got it wrong and still none of them work. Somebody help a boy out coz the last place i want to go to is Nissan.
Cheers:thumb:

Yeah I have the master fob and another 2 with that. Strangely the master worked for 1 unlock after the other ones stopped but now...zilch...nada. Whats the solution then?

you shouldn't really use the master to unlock the car that often,
But try this;

Stand next to or sit in the car, hold down both buttons on the fob untill the LED stops flashing, release both buttons and the LED should be solid. Press and hold the red button down and the car should unlock and have it's code back.

Can't remember off hand how to program the fobs from the master though.

IIRC The master will only unlock the car when it's been locked by a fob (so the alarm is armed), not by key (the alarm is not armed), so once your normal fobs stop working, so will the master. The Master should never unsync it's self.

Hally, I believe (it worked for me on the 200 which is same NATS2 system) the resync procedure for a fob already programmed is to put the key in the ignition and turn to second click (dash lights on - I've never understood this as the immobiliser and alarm in NATS2 are completely seperate...anyway), press and hold blue button while pressing the red button 8 times within 10 seconds. On the 8th press, hold red down untill the LED's go off then release. LED's go solid. Remove key from ignition. Then press and hold red - car should lock. If not, you need to re-program the fob from the master as if it's a new fob...

If you need to do that, pm me and I'll PM the procedure over, it's one of these things that's a bit dodgey puttin on a public forum.

Absolute legend mate. Just gave that a go and now were back online. For about 2 years i had to put up with walkin to the micra to unlock it and when i got the almera i nearly cried at the fact i had remote central locking. But thats me...hopefully be on here more often, try my best to make the almera my own. Cheers for the help ;)

Haha fuckin right mate. nah i still woulda loved to see it with a 1.3. Damn i miss the micra though....just seein what stani's doing to it. BUT!....the almera is a feckin weapon, would have it over the micra anyday. I hear your maybe gettin a Pulsar.
