Rota GT3's from Rare Rims

Hi all

Opinion required on this set of wheels please. Now I know some of you will take the piss but I really fancy a set of these (in RED :lol: )

They're also exactly the right fitment for the mera and 16's (which i wanted). I know there was a heated debate going on about alloy sizes in a another thread. But ive thought about it and since im not really into body styling - i thought these would set the car apart a bit, plus im going to drop it with coilovers so it should look sweet! Its either these or black Rota Slipstream' (same site) with chrome lip. Dont fancy silver alloys at all on a red motor.
 
go for the slipstreams mate. Not too keen on the red but it could work well. A lot of vw boys colour code their split rim centres to good effect.

I was thinking bout getting these in red,have seen them on lots of cars and they look good,very jdm!!!
 
Thats the prob, would like to see a pic of a mera dropped on these but im rubbish with photoshop so i cant do it.
 
They look mental would look good imo. The chrome lip splits the colour up. if they were all red then they would look shit.

this is my attempt at putting those rims on my gti, i think gunmetal would be loads better but i cant get a large enough image from that link!

is that price on the website (£399.50) for a set of 4 x 16" alloys with no tires correct cos i want a pair in gunmetal with polished lip! they look sweet no matter what anyone else thinks, i'd be made up to be running 16" like they with some coilovers im trying to get on the group buy.

well it seems that were gunna have to pay an individual price for the coilovers which might be something stupid like £700 + but im waiting to see what "majormods" the person doing it has to say.

But on a better note, my friend here can get hold of ksports so im waiting for him to give me a price.
Anyways lets get these alloys and coilovers and be cooler than anyone else on here... honest :D

Damn straight fella, my cars next to yours at the big Almera meet (if it happens!). The two red ones with the funky JDM rims :D :lol:

Let me know what price you get quoted on the KSports, fancy a set myself if the price is right.
