- It was my first Gti
- It was the first car I worked on ( I didnt know how to remove a bumper before this lol)
- I learnt how to do basic body work on them gti bumpers. I resprayed them from red to black
- I bought the car for £200, I kept the engine, gearbox, bumpers, skirts, all the lights, wheels, exhaust, steering wheel, short shifter and other bits. Then scrapped the shell and received half my money back
If I didn't buy that Gti I think I would have ended up with a golf or civic and missed out on the N15 buzz LOL
Loved that car and learnt a lot from it. Its a similar story with the 5dr SRi SR20.
I gave you the engine from my brother cars not mine.
The reason why i scrapped the FJO engine was because towards the end it started to burn oil and the clutch was on its way out too. Thought no point going through the hassle.
wow, thanks for the pictures they were outside my old house when she was looking good! and the other pics are from star city meet, im in one talking to stufa gti.
