Hello, I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra Spec V from the US. This is the closest thing to an Almera. I'm about 20 min. north of Cambridge.

My Sentra has the QR25DET engine. This is an import and I bet a few of you dislike it because it's left-hand drive. I've been looking around, and I noticed that the Almera has a navigation system. I was woundering if it can go into my car.

2.5 Turbo? Is it front wheel drive? Thats amazing! I dont dislike it for being left hand drive though. Also, no-ones going to expect it to pack such a big engine.

Thats twice today I've messed up the engine types. The Sentra is a QR25DE. I have a friend that has a 200SX and he did a SR20DET swap. Now he needs parts and I've been calling around. I wish my car did have a T though.

makes 2 of us buddy.
:welcome: anyway lol hopfully there is somone who can help you about the navigation system and you will find the forum useful

i fell in love with these cars whilst on holiday in america, i really like yours and i think its the b13 i really like aswell
just out of intrest, how difficult is it for you to get parts for it? i dont think there was any QR25 engined cars sold in the uk (im propably wrong about this) so do you have to order parts from the USA everytime you need something?

I doesn't take long for shipping, it's roughly 10 days. Someone told me that they use the 2.5L in a the X-Trail 4x4 but I could be wrong.

a car is a car nothing wrong with it because its lef-hand drive but its a pisstake when you go into a car park

as for the Sat nav system you are looking at about £1,000 for it (random guess)
and you need to modify it. i would get a Facia for your car and then put a Head unit that has sat nav in it.

Something really clever they have is remote boot unlocking too :D

I hired one couple of years ago in the states...

About the car park... I went to Heathrow last week to pick up some friends and I had to use the parking garage. I had to set my parking brake and jump over to grab the ticket. The whole thing took about 1 minute. Sad part was that I held up traffic to do it. A lot of people were ticked off.
