Should I paint my side skirts black?

Hi all, my side skirts on my N15 have started to develop rust near the rear wheel so i painted it with anti rust black paint on both side so it has a little bit of black on both sides as you can see in my pictures.

The paint youve put on wont treat the rust mate. Your best bet in my opinion is get rid of all rust ( sand down and treat rust with genolite or similar) , get patches welded if needed, then paint them black. At least then your treating it rather than just masking it over.
 
Side skirts are dirt cheap mate. Tube of Silicon and you're away. Colour match may be a bit of a sticking point although you could get a set of black ones pretty easily.
 
for side skirts have a word with Mij on here he doesn't always list everything he has but give him a shout any way just in case mate.
