side skirts help

hey all
ive just got some gt style side skirts for my n15 1.4 si mera does anyone know the best way to fit these they fit on but show a gap so im guessin usein a filler or wateva to make it all blend in .
what is the best way to bond the skirts to the metal of the car?

any help and tips would be appreciated , cheerz
chay

really stickey stuff for body kits called stickerflex or tigerseal stuff like that, its black like tar and about 15 pound a tube, make sure its warm outstide before you do it or it will take ages to go off, just put the glue on the skirt (Comes out like mastick) and tape it, or screw it (if it has holes) where you want it!! all stuff from local car acc shop! dont use filler for the gap it will just crack get "flexible" body filler if you want to seal the gap!

...and listen to the man corbs in the thread bigmac linked to. i completely sealed my skirts off to avoid water getting in and rotting the sills. not a good idea. at the front of the door opening today i noticed water runs straight into the bottom of the front wing. DRILL HOLES! other wise your sills will be like a tea bag in next to no time....

I used sikaflex and a screw at each end to put skirts on my old Si. I left the underside of the skirts open so no water would collect in there, and sikaflexed along the top edge and inside all along the sill for a good hold. you don't need to use sikaflex sparingly, you can layer it up to bridge between the sill and the inner side of the skirt, so you don't have to bend it in to get it closer to the sill... if that makes sense.

i,m in search of some skirts myself for my 14.si r plate 1998 red :-)
