Silver ph1?

Hey mates, just a quick question, do you get the ph1 gti in silver? Was talkin to the old man(P64KTP) today about moving up from the SRi to a GTi and he recons you don't get the ph1's in silver... is this right? :confused:
 
think it was only the "phase 3's" that came in silver, i'm probably wrong but my answer is no, the phase 1 gti's didnt come in silver :)

It's alot of work to respray a car in a different colour perfectly, engine bay, interior etc will still be the original colour unless you strip it right down.

I know its possible to do it in such a way that you dont see the different coloured bits, but it still seems a bit scruffy to me!

BUT yo could buy a 1.4 p2 in silver and convert it to a GTi. if you were that desperate for silver..
 
you havent started yet! i bet the flywheel's still sat in your garage:P
