so much for cleaning!

Yesterday, i washed and polished, blacked tires, put a fresh coat of paint on all the calipers and polished up any bits of sinny metal i could find on the mera ready for JAE. but its sods law that by me it is absolutly pissing down, the roads are covered with puddles the size of lakes. i went to get some petrol and now the car is in shit state again :(

Tell me about it. I cant be arsed with this shite, fucking weather. aargh..
If its still raining tommorow (which it will be) i aint gonna be going to JAE, its gonna be a mud bath and a crappy drive down there and just down right miserable. Just worked my nads off to get a new clutch fitted in the pissing rain aswell.
Gutted. :(

If it is too wet will JAE get cancled? or does it carry on whatever the weather is like? Is there a web site where you can check?

just wash it when ya get there and a spray of quick detail spray, thats what i usually do when travelling to a show.

As someone who's been to the East of England showground before, if this rain does not stop then it'll be one big mudbath...

Some people have no spirit! I don't care how messy JAE is, I'll be there, for the whole weekend! A bit of rain never hurt anyone! Last year I had to go to Tesco and buy a whole new set of clothes I got that wet!

only thing thats going to annoy me is you cant polish the paint if its wet. gone and bought one of them flexi blades today, might give me the edge over the rain lol

me and my mate will be leaving soon

Woo-fucking-hoo:
A282 Kent - Accident anticlockwise after Dartford Tunnel Toll Booths in Greater London, two lanes closed.

well it took me 7 hours to get from worcester to london yesterday james! its a bloody 2 hour journey. floods everywere.

Although speaking to the organisers they had the same 3 1/2 hours of rain yesterday, et they have improved all the drainage system this year. so its apperantly all drained straight away!
