space saving sub?

I want fuller sound in my car but i dont want to loose much bootspace

i have heard of sub boxes that fit to the side of the boot or any ideas that will help in saving space?
 
The stealth sub enclosures are made by Auto Acoustics but as yet the don't make them for Almeras so you'll have to try and make your own or try something else.
 
yeah, bit of a shitter. I live ....er... well I can see the Auto Acoustics unit from my flat window I'm that close and pop in from time to time.
They did say they could make the mould up and make some if there was enough interest but we tried this before and there wasn't enough people.

I also didn't fancy them having my car for 4-6 weeks whilst they made the mould. I can just see it now, some spotty little Saturday boy who usually sweeps up the MDF cuttings and makes the tea, blasting around in my car whilst it's supposed to be in the workshop being moulded.... :tut:
 
I have a JBL BASSPRO in my boot. It sides to the left hand side of the boot takes up hardly any room + the ound is good considering it's a 6" sub.

i have a sub and amp for sale, only 12", it will only take up half of your boot space, its phoenix gold sub and amp. will post up pics l8er

oh yeah.. you will need to make a new boot floor because subs will vibrate them a lot, also if you take out the spare wheel and tools you gain a few inches in extra boot height and you may need some sound deadening so you have a much cleaner and bassier sound
