Speedo Problem

As title says I have an issue with my speedo, the LCD backlight is not working so I cant see it at night, had a look at the speedo & replaced the 3 bulbs behind the LCD thinking that would solve it, but it hasn't is there anything else it could be??

Also where is the mileage info stored? eg if I get some second hand replacement clock and fit them will it show the mileage on my car or the mileage on the donor car??
 
mileage is stored on the clocks so the milage will show from the donar car if replaced
