Spotted @ NASS festival - Black P2 GTi

shaggy_master

brapp brapp!
Spotted at NASS festival parked on the showground itself, possibly VIP camping?
It was a black phase 2 GTi with some black alloys with chrome/polished lip..
Didn't really notice anything else as I was hammered all weekend lol.
Anybody?

This is the first year I've been to NASS festival, only went because 5 of my close mates were riding the BMX street competition, 2 of them qualified for the pro final too!
My main man Shaun could have won in my opinion.. But he tried a massssive tailwhip gap over the whole course pretty much, and the head tube snapped clean off his frame!! Crazy shit..
My other mate who qualified, Ed Williams, he landed his first ever 360 double tailwhip in the final too.
I can't really comment too much on the music, as we got there pretty late on friday night, missed most of the acts, including Lethal Bizzle :( lol, although I did catch NERD, and they were semi decent.. But they were trying to start a mosh pit on wet grass.. Which was a fail as you can imagine..
Overall I think the festival itself wasn't too bad, loads of good places to get food, good ramps etc.. But the campsite was TERRIBLE, really muddy/messy and the toilets were shocking lol..
Plus the 12 cans of beer per person limit really put a damper on the weekend for most people.. Not for me though, as I took in 12 cans of King Cobra, 8% strength lager hahaha, tasty!

When i went in 2002 it was really good, total carnage, loads going on and quite a big site. In 2003, there was half the acts and the place had shrunk, but cost more to get in! I think that no drink rule is happening alot more, friends and myself were planning to go to Global Gathering, until we heard you couldnt bring anything on site and all drinks were around £3-4 each.

Yeah, overall I thought that for £75 they could have done a lot more...
The small street course that they let the general public use was absolutely shocking.. Three ramps that were randomly placed around in a warehouse..
Another thing that was disappointing was the ironically named 'Goliath' Megaramp.. The ones in the USA have 60+ feet gaps, this one had a 20ft gap, if that!
