Ok guys this might seem like a lame question to you lot but i'm gonna ask anyway hahaha!!
Quite a while ago I spotted a motor (a pug 206) with the rear clusters painted the same colour as the bodywork. In the daylight they literally looked like part of the bodywork you couldn't tell they were lights they looked really good nice and smooth. Then in the night time they glowed up like normal rear clusters do.
Is there any specific method to doing this or is there even a special type of paint or something to do this? I'm sure if they were sprayed like you'd normally spray a car you wouldn't see the lights at night or am I wrong?
I see people about who have tried doing it themselves or shaded them for a 'smoked' effect but they looked pretty shit to be honest (even though some smoked clusters look good).
I'm thinking of doing mine myself or if not too expensive go to a garage. My car is black if it makes a difference, the car in question was a sort of green/light blue weird mix.
Cheers for any advice
