SS Autochrome header

i was a after a header for the lude which they do :) not sure if they are any good or not though will need to reasearch i guess

not sure if you have ordered this yet, or if you'd be up for waiting, but id go for splitting the cost, just dont have any money just now.

if i get cash toghether then ill get in touch :)

yes but the ss header doesnt have a precat, pics suggest its one piece, gotta save up for one, once the 1.6 is in itll be worth getting one

im still waiting for the money to fall out of the sky on this one, ive got a clutch to replace first, so im getting a fidanza fly wheel in there cos it makes sense, on the other half im 21 on the 12th of this month so i might have a bit of spare cash. anyway its no rush so dont worry to much :)

wht kind of improvement can u expect from this???
I need 120+ bhp

Just from a manifold? that wont happen, possibly with the flywheel in aswell and a free-er flowing catback exhaust system.

Where are you getting the flywheel by the way? I'm looking for one!

it will have to be soon, as my clutch is f**ked to diggory. within the next month, there a load cheaper from the US from what i could see. just need to find the cheapest dealer. ( HINT HINT) :P

i have the money, ( Thank christ for grandparents) so im gonna get a new clutch soon
can anyone recomend a mechanic is sussex.

The SSA GA manifold is one peice to the front pipe with no precat.
The standard manifold is manifold and down pipe.
The GA1XDE and SR20DE both have pre-cats in the standard manifold.
A flywheel doesnt increase horsepower.

True, technically it releases horse power, but if you were to dyno your car before and after fitting a fidanza you would see an increase in horsepower.

yeah im happy to drive to hastings, after a past thread about the transco clutches, im gonna buy one of them. ill pm u when i get it. cheers

Gotta say, the quality and value for money of SS Autochrome products is amazing (in my opinion, lol).... I've just fitted one of their mainfolds and frontpipes to my GTi and the difference in drivability and torque delivery is HUGE!
I've had a big stainless system from them for one of my Skylines, and the quality was loads better than i've seen on blitz or hks systems!! :) :) :)

So a big thumbs up from me for SS Autochrome ;)

By the way.... Try going through XS Power (here in the UK) for SSA products... From XS, Items will be less compared to buying from the states ;) (no import duty or tax ect)

I wouldn't bet on that...people who have bought from them have found the items were shipped direct from the US. Although I (and others) have asked them and were told that the items would be shipped within the UK.

I know Kev contacted them and asked if they would reimburse and VAT/duty he was charged and they said yes, but if they can lie about the location of the parts in the first place

Hmmmm... I know they get ALL their stock direct from the states, but being a UK based dealer for these products, that means they are responsible for any duty / taxes etc.... The exhaust system for my Skyline arrived from the states the morning after i'd ordered it and paid for it  (although ordered through XS Power in the UK), and i wasn't charged a penny for duty or tax :)
I'm sure if you mention duty & tax to XS when ordering, they'll make sure it's all dealt with at their end ;) ;)
