Starting Problem

hi
im sure i got a starter motor problem, when i turn the ignition i hear a click and nothing happens. Is there a quick fix i have to drive to wales in the morning!!
any help appreciated

hows it going mate, did you check your battery!? could be a flat battery if its 'clicking' try to jump start the car and see if you have any joy
 
nah it was the starter motor unfortunatly. got a new one from the motor factor and fitted myslef, dam its hard to get to!!!
how much should i be paying at a factors i think i may have paid too much?

How do you know it was the starter,what was wrong with it.It's a bit late checking the price now though?

The man from the AA confirmed my suspicions after doing a search on here.
