av got a 1.4 equation mera and was wondering if the steering wheel off a gti would fit onto my car! mines the model withut an airbag but was wondering if the wheel off a gti would fit, airbag dont need to work on it!

it should just be a strait swap, make sure you disconnect your battery for 5mins prior to removing the steering wheel though!

Just do what i did.... Take apart the dials, put some tape between the light, and the dial bit, and voilous, no light.. Passed MOT too as you cant see any light......

Or you could just take the airbag light bulb out!!
