Right I have a Nissan badge above my glovebox and was gonna have an Almera badge on the door. At the moment I have double sided tape, which was too weak. I then ADDED glue dots which got soft in heat and finally Added blue-tac. It still doesnt stick and basically need something that will hold in heat etc but dont know what else to try.

Cheers

tiger seal, get it from all motor shop places about a £10 but guaranteed to hold em in place.

Cheers will have a go with that. Just gotta get rid of all sticky that its left!lol

Cheers

I Dunno what the inside of made of , but its some wierd stuff. Had a few problems when painting the insides of me doors since the Masking tape wouldnt latch onto the Leather look Plastic on the door cars

yeah is a pain in the ass! but wouldnt swap for anything i dont think.

had a funny question asked the other day. it was 'How much did interior cost or did it come as standard?' lol  thats from a vauxhall nova driver!lol so funny i just gave him a blank look!

But yeah its different defo just a pain stickin things to it!

Have to say , i never noticed at first (first car) , but the Almera Interior really is quality for how much you can pick one up. The mothers jus bought a Pug 206 CC & to be honest , its got all the same electrics as the almera (bar the roof) , but I could tear the insides apart with my hands.

For a car thats nearly 10 year old , have to say impressed with all the electrics / leather look & fitting of the interior. Apart from the Gear Gator that is

Know what u mean. i first drove a punto sx which had elecs, fogs, c/l just didnt have power, yet the dash n everthing was bloody awful but at time i never realised how bad. since been in a brand new polo, same as punto, and a mazda 323f which was really awful to drive - hated it.

Well chuffed with it, think thats one of the reasons i like it so much!

have you tried trim repair tape mate?
give the surface a quick wipe with white spirits just to degrease it, and stick the badge on using the trim tape. takes about 24hours to set. once its set its stuck down pretty well!

its probs got silicone on the dash and door cards, that why nowt will stick, so clean it with some thing thats a degreaser, ie soap, them armourall none shine cleaner wipes etc etc
