struggling to set up timing on phase 1 gti

im not sure if the timing marks have been added on my pully
they look like they have been notched and if that's the case im not sure what im looking at

any help or pointers

I have looked through and tried many guides but each time my car end up worst , have tried to set with a gun and with a live data scanner and no joy, think the car is at 80% responsiveness now

only code I had was for knock sensor and I might need a new chain tensioer
 
The timing mark's are notches on the crank pully. Did you unplug the throttle position sensor? first.
Can i be honest with you mate.
You own a nissan almera gti?
Are you planning on keeping it for awhile?

Well what i would do is pay the join up fee as this will open up a whole load of interesting, helpful,information you will need! with many guides, if ever you run into needing "help or pointers" and not to mention the knowledge the guy's have on here.

it was probably the best value for money i ever spent.
