can someone recommend a spring kit with 4 springs to lower a 99 mera 1.4 ambition about 30 mm on standard shocks cheers, dave. hopefully not too pricey
 
PI springs mate, but to be honest putting springs on Almeras doesnt work...If you want it low, then coilovers is the way to go :)

For a 1.4 ambition springs will be fine. Yes its not going to give you a big drop, but then why spend nearly what your cars worth on suspension.
 
I have a set of 40mm drop Eibach on my GTi, they do drop the car, but its more like 25mm. They do sharpen up the turn in and reduce the body roll, but its at the expense of ride comfort. Also I wouldnt put them on without new shocks, which would put the price sky high.
 
Ran my SRi on Pi springs and worked fine. Lowering springs are designed to cope with used shocks, thats why they sell them without dampers. If all you want to do is lower your car then get a set of lowering spring, thats what there there for.
 
ive tried gettin white line bits but there like rocking horse s***. bin told ive got a 6-8week wait on some of the bits! absolutly outrageous!
