SVE Sat Nav

Hi I'm new to this and don;t know if I'm posting in the right place.

My 2004 Almera SVE has started to show SECURE in a green box on the screen for the Sat nav/Stereo/ Air Con after the car has been running a couple of minutes. I can't get the sat nav or stereo to work.

Can anyone help please.

Hi Lynne, welcome to the AOC.

Ignore Ross, he`s probably hammered (again lol)! :lol: it`s probably her star sign Ross.

Try re-entering the radio code (should be written in the handbook somewhere), as the unit has locked itself for some reason (as Ross says, probably due to a battery issue), so simply re-entering the code will hopefully get it working again, if not, it could be a fault has developed inside the unit, & a (not cheap) trip to Nissan is required.

Thanks for your help. Car was a non starter 2 day, 2 cut a long story short had to end up getting a new battery and everything is working fine now without having to re-enter the code.
