Time to introduce myself

hey guys, thought i should give myself a proper introduction, and erm first up, i'm not an almera owner, not even a nissan owner, i'm a toyota owner, ep82 gt turbo to be precise.

came on here as my miss's (kez) got the green GTI that you all seem to love so much. lol. and being a car mechanic/tech/electrician my self, although with very little nissan knowledge (none to be precise, most experience i have had was driving a r34 gtr around southampton for an hour, was fun) thought i should get my self on here and learn abit. as she'll be dealing with the exterior, due to her lack of expertise under the bonnet/wheel arches etc i'm looking into most of that, although she is learning very quickly. (well done babe)

and have to admit it, starting to love almera's to, engine note sounds lovely, they look lovely, interior is nice and has a shed load of room inside.

any way enoughs, couple of pics of my baby.

Welcome looks nice, I was good mates with 'MisterAdam' off the Starlet forums who had the White EP82 with the Tom's kit. Sold it to another mate who sprayed it orange if you know it. Good cars.

yes it does, even though he needs to sort out the bulb (as one has blown) lol, but lights up red instead of the green glow which looks good with the red bits on his car, and his is alot quicker than mine :(

sooo depressing coming from a 1.3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

lol, doesnt orriginally have the 'gt' badge, but has been retrofitted.

and as for the south meet, depends where my car is and whats being done to it, as at the moment, it could be one of the following,

at the bodyshop
on my drive getting a new turbo, mani, down pipe, external wastegate, exhaust system and frount mount,
or on the road. lol

Its a nice touch that.

Shaggy has a turbo and manifold for sale, that'd piss on his bonfire!

lol, i'd like to see, currently running about 140bhp and 0-60's in about 6.3 secs i know top end it'll be all over me, allthough at the end of summer should be pushing 180+bhp

the internals on the sr20de, do they need forging to run a turbo, or can we just put a turbo etc on and off we go?

that an RX-7 top mount dan?

seen those clear cambelt covers for sale on UKSC, quite a smart addition when paired with anodised cam gears.

oh and welcome to the club.

good luck fixing up kez's p2 kit matey ;)
