timing belt

does my 1.6L sri almera have a timing belt or a timing chain?

i read on this forum that only the n15 1.5L diesel has a timing belt, all the other n15's have timing chain's, is this correct?

Yes thats correct, all N15 petrols have a timing chain. The only N15 diesel is a 2.0 CD20 engine, dont know if thats got a belt or a chain though
