Lens Tintin Madness

I recently tinted my rear lenses mate and found it very tricky!
You start with the usual light coat and build it up nicely, letting each coat dry.
If there is runs, you are screwed and need to start again.(get remover it is a life saver!)I seriously put about 8 coats on each of them so they were solid black!took 2 trys but was well worth it as they look bling now.
I was a bit paranoid bout the coppers pullin me but have had 3 followin behind me now with no problems, your worst problem is incompetent drivers who are half asleep and your rear with the sun on it.If you have a boot brake light though, your laughin!.Oh,If you dont mask it off well enough, you will get it on your paint work and this happened to me in one spot.It is really difficult to get it off,it's almost like it goes straight through your paint!!!!and stays there,no wipin it off,I managed to get it off and was gobsmacked at how bad it reacted!
Good luck mate, you should be fine with it and also polish it when it is dry with a wax, proper shiny!!! hope this helped;) AND DONT BUY FOLIATEC TINT IT IS OF POOR QUALITY!!!!!

No worries mate, glad I would help!

I tinted mine using the spray stuff and masked a big area off.

The key to this is patience... I have about 6 coats on mine and you can see how dark they are from my avatar.

The tinting spray leaves a dull finish...

Add some t-cut and this really brings out a nice sheen to them.

I did mine with MOTIP tinting spray. I puted 2 coats, now it's light black (smoked), you can see it on my signature, and when i brake or turn, lights are like default.

Whole job was done in 1 hour, without removing lights.
