TO KEEP OR SCRAP? HELP

clutch worth it

IV JUST PICKED UP A 98 PREMIER 1.4 and only cost 300 but clutch is slipping and she has rust in the usual place but its paint is immaculate.
Also anyone know what would cause a bad smell in a car could it be the clutch slipping as it can be drove if you nurse it.
Help guy's gut mot'd a 206 and 200 miles in the engine blows up and had enough throwing money into waste of time.
Like the look of this wee car and twin cam is what makes me want her on the road.
Another thing what the full usage like. .

Naa good chance it's dog shit i bet.

If the paint work is really really good,then putting a new clutch is worth it.
 
Smell could be anything... have you showered recently ;)
Or if it is the clutch it would smell of burny? ess
Is it clean inside?
If you can get a clutch fitted cheap enough then great, if not then at least buy the part yourself and offer to pay in notes... to a friendly garage... ?
If you like it then do it!!??
206's engine prob blew up as its french?
