Im Buyin another almera to strip down.... just wondering what parts people wanted... Its a p reg silver 5dr almera 2.0 DIESEL!!! (didnt know you could get almeras in diesel?)... all parts are availiable.. most of the bodywork is ok.... whole reason its gonna get stripped is its got more miles than the star ship enterprise!!! 161000 miles!!!! so people let me know... hopefully should be pickin the car up this week .......unless someone wants to buy the whole car off me???

Lol, Andreus has the 2litre diesel aswell. What colur of material is the seats cause i'm looking for rear headrests.

depending on condition i would sell it on, not going to be many desireable parts on a 5 door diesel, and with not many people having silver almeras the panels arent particularly desireable, after 161000 i wouldnt be suprised if it went on for another 50000-100000 depending on how it has been looked after, think its the same as the p10 diesel which tends to go on forever in taxis etc

sellin it with that mileage is gonna be a problem though so i thought id strip what i could and get 50 quid at scrappys for the rest

Ummm, the fan control unit thing if its the same as the Almera SI. If that makes any sense? if possible, just the bit that controls the fan speed.

How much?

If i'm not making any sense, just say and i'll take a pic :)

Tell me about it mate. Be alot easier just to get the GTi interior but then the rear doorcards won't match

PICKED the car up today... damn man.. uphill in first lol... anyways replies as follows... wildchild-- your not makin any sense, send pics..
Game-- sorry mate no rear headrests in this.. how bout the front ones???lol
syms--- if the heator works..its yours

Err can someone move this to the For sale section please??? thanks

161k miles?? That's nothing, barely run in.

My sister is just about to abandon her 1.1 petrol 205 and thats just hit 240k miles, and its a petrol!! Seems a shame to strip that if it's all still working...

well i wouldnt but theres work that needs doin on it... powersteering motor new drivers seat new steering wheel new rear shocks overheats for some reason...and on and on so its easier to strip... that and i only paid 20 quid for it
