was wondering, are they any points where i can trolley jack the side of the car up?

so instead of jacking up the front or the back of the car, is they a way of jacking up either side of the car?

sorry if this is a really stupid question just i really dont know!

cheers

dont think so, probably not save to tbh. just use the front ones and the rear beam.

what is it your trying to do? ive done a full system just jacking up the back end and there was plenty of room even by the cat which is fairly close to the front

the front jack point can be used i think for a trolleyjack

but you will need a shaped packer to fit inside the lip that runs down the underside of the sill

put back wheels on the front and front wheels on the back.... and i have no spare wheels :/

there is right underneath the front wishbone bits. thats where the garages place the hydraulic lifts i think. its still quite difficult to get to with a trolley jack, and impossible if the cars lowered. you cant use a trolley jack on the standard jack points as the metal just bends.

Yup that ^^^^ is where you jack it up on the front and use the beam on the rear!

Very true! Never-ever go under your car if it's up on a jack...

Saying that a friend had his head squashed by a car that came off an axle stand. Apparently they heard his scream all the way down his road. How he survived I'll never know !? He wasn't prettiest guy before the accident but now he breaks camera lenses !

Don't do it kids, it's too dangerous !

jacking points are marked on the sill eith little cut outs, but for me i use the towbar on the rear as a jacking point lol

I never use the sill point, only the wishbone point. Plus that takes the whole side of the car up anyway. Then just slot axle stands under.

If all youre doing is swapping wheels, then just use the jack that comes with the car to do the other jacking point?
