tuning the sr20DE

thanx 2 everyone who helped with the rear callipers puzzle, i got in touch with a firm in rochdale that are sending my parts as we speak.:)

i have found a stainless steel manifold for my 98 Gti, was wondering if it will return a noticeable difference in power. thecar itself has a stainless exhaust that i created at work (engineer;)) but the manifold is standard. i have a pipercross induction kit also but other than that it is completely stock.

i was also wondering if people have had any experience with FSE boost valves? would these changes be any benefit?

If you sign up to be a full paid member Shap, theres a good little tuning guide in the SR20DE section written by naylorGTi :)

As said before paying to be a full member will reap many benefits and will get you help with anything! ;)

A performance manifold will give better power/response gains than any other part of the exhaust in my experience. Decatting also releases power/response too but the manifold is a definite for more performance.

I really don't think you'd need an FSE boost valve unless you plan to have more mods in the future that require you to need more fuel. If you are sticking to the mods you have plus a performance manifold I really wouldn't waste money on a boost valve pal.
