Turbo advice ??

Hi guys, just been doing a little research on boosting my gti, and i have stumbled on some websites offering turbo kits all ready just to bolt on, has anyone used these ? or can anyone suggest a better solution ?

This has been covered quite recently. The general idea is its pointless.

Search mine, stufa's, kristians threads for more info.

Or pay up as a full member and i'll tell you everything you'll need and where to get it.

^Warren is a decent chap so help him out once he's got them monies in :D
 
urm err can I back out of that now? :lol:. Well he built a throttle bodied 106 that I've been told went well so I'll trust him :lol:.
 
has anybody done a thread on every thing that is needed for a turbo yet. could do with being done really coz im sure there will be a few more turbos in the future.

thats exactaly the sort of think i am after, i have a rough idea of what i need and what will work but that would be ideal
 
Stuart's turbo build thread is good. Read through all of that (i know it's a lot of pages though) and you'll have a good idea. After that it'll be going into the technical threads once you've got your membership. Maybe Mark and Stu can get toegther to make en article?

Everyone knows whats needed.
And if you don't, just search lol.
Its all there in numerous threads.

Yeah will have a read through mate cheers, yeah got a while till i do it, just trying to get all the info together first, see and i thought i would be fine with a standard car !!! lol

yeah i am sure it is all there mate just in the members section, so will sort out my membership !
