Tyres size on 18's

Just wondering for those that have 18's, What size tyres are you running?

I'm currently running 195/55/16 tyres.

16's (55 profile) 16x25.4 + [(55% of 195) x 2] = 406.4 + [(107.25) x 2]= 620.9mm

18's (40 profile) 18x25.4 + [(40% of 215) x 2] = 457.2 + [(86) x 2] = 629.2mm

18's (35 profile) 18x25.4 + [(35% of 215) x 2] = 457.2 + [(75.25) x 2] = 607.7mm

I've done the calculations (see above) to keep it as near to the standard diameter as possible, but is it better to go for a larger diameter or lesser diameter than standard?

I've ordered the 18's but just need to know what tyres to get.

Any help is much apprieciated.

18's (40 profile) 18x25.4 + [(40% of 215) x 2] = 457.2 + [(86) x 2] = 629.2mm. I would go for that size as it seems like a comprimise. 55 will be more comfortable but too large while 35 would make the ride rough as hell.

I've got 215/35/15 on mine. The actual wheel diameter is a tiny bit bigger than the original size

What size are the wheels?? ie 7x18 or 8x18

Ain't sure mate TBH, but i know i'm getting 215 width. got a funny feeling it's 7x18"

Edit.....

From the research i've done, it looks like they are 7.5x18"

35 profile 18" - they will reduce rolling radius and help to increase acceleration, so i would personally choose those
