Where does everyone generally get their tyres from?
I have just bought some TOYO PROXES T1-R's!
Any good?
They cost me £34.60 each and i'm getting them fitted at the local garage for £5 each.
How much do you guys pay usually?
and is this a good deal?

Sounds about right to me, I pay about that to get them from Fusion :)

What size tyres?
 
thats cheap tbh I was going to get some for my 17's but they were about 75 quid each so I stuck with budget ones. so far so good with the budget ones tbh

what size was that for? seems nice and cheap - sure mine for 16s was £45ish

Fusion Motorsport have a deal on 15's thats why mate.

PROXES T1-R 195/45 R16 80V with rim protection ridge = £52.90
BUT not sure what size, profile etc your after. :cool:
 
I got my Falken ZE-512 tyres from R-Tec, was about £35 per tyre, which is a damn site cheaper than all the local places wanted for cheap shit tyres.
 
HIJACK! how can i find out more about how good certain tyres are. I'm looking on that tyre traders at the moment and its a really cheap site. I only want some tyres for the clio so 155/70/13. There's some TOYO 155/70R13.75T 350 for £20. I usually trust toyo so these might be ok. The others it came up with were

got some VREDESTEIN sport trac 3's on my lasses sol and I think they're the best tyres Ive drove with so far compared to pirellis, yokos, toyos, falcons, kumo's etc. They also won best all round tyre of the year for the last few years with autocar or one of those mags. she had goodyear eagle F1's on before them which I thought were really good tyres but these seem just as good in the dry and just as good in the wet but with less tyre noise and a better ride off them too.
when driving with them on you can drive at just the same speed in the wet as in the dry
think she paid £120 for a pair of 195/55/15's fitted
 
I need some new front tyres...got a puncture yesterday :(

Looking at the t1-r's but they're classed as summer tyres? maybe not the best for this time of year?

If your reffering to me dude, they're not for the mera, they're for the numb handling frech piece of toss clio. I'm putting toyo t1's (or whatever they're called) on the mera at some point but as its off the road till some time next year there's no rush.

Hmmm, theyre a sport/summer tyre really, BUT IMO i found them brilliant in the wet once they had worn in. :cool:
