Universal exhaust question...

I want a rear tailpipe for my N16 Sport+.
A company on my local forum have offered me this universal rear box for £50 +p&p.
Thing is even if the exhaust fits will it clear my rear bumper.
I dont want to cut it and it seems a bargain to a direct fit. I know little about universals...are they more trouble than they are worth....

No universal zorst is a direct fit mate....where are the hangers on that?...

Sorry mate....what I meant was a direct fit is much more expensive than this universal one...I've no ideas where the hangers are....I can see a bar at the rear of the box thats all

.....it`ll need professional installation....cutting/welding etc to make it fit.

all depends if that the specific back box you want. if you just want a back box then yeh its probaly to much bother. but you will have to search for a direct fit back box

i have had universals on old cars and they wobble about if poorly fitted and can knock. i would say your best bet if your not in a hurry is to keep an eye on the sales board here. or check out powerflow.

another option for a hanger is to fit a corsa backbox hanger cos it goes right round the backbox and it makes the exhaust fit.
