Uprated bulbs

I'd imagine so, but they are not road legal. All halogen bulbs have to be 60/55w

hmmmmmm

i had them in the punto gt 100w bulbs but admittedly they were h1 ublbs which were for the main beam. im guessing almera's are 1 for all bulbs

We list Ring Xenon bulbs which are rated at 60/55 but shine 60% brighter. These are £13.74 + vat per pair ( post is £3.75 + vat ). The wiring can be left standard. I travel down a long straight on the way home. These bulbs light the signs at the end that I could not even see with the standard bulbs. We can also supply the superb Piaa range which are much better but have a price to match. Please give me a call if you want to know more.

check out the new ones from philips(x-treme +80%) & osram(night breaker +90%) they about £25- £35 a pair
i got philips ones in p12  :D

i've still got the Eurodesignz ones from the GB years ago and they're still going strong! Really good white light with a blue tinge from outside the car.

I bought these Phillips Extreme +80% for my dad because he was complaining the dipped beam on his Mazda 3 was shite. Turns out he's got HIDs so I'll be sticking the bulbs in my Mera today to see if they are any good. Will keep you posted.

Been using Phillips Blue Vision until now, nice crisp white light with a tiny blue tint and reasonably better than OEM distance (about +30%).

Well, in my totally unscientific swap-the-bulbs-and-drive-about-for-a-bit test Phillips Extreme are a bit brighter than the Blue Vision one but not a huge difference.
Much better than OEM bulbs, though.

I used to have Halfords All-Weather bulbs in my 'mera, which cut through fog and rain well, but lacked range.

I currently have Bosch Light Blue bulbs in it, which tbh was more about looks than anything else, but having said that they had a good range to them and remove that horrible piss-yellow colour the OEM bulbs have.
