Vibrating noise

I have an N16 phase 1 1.8 sport almera and ever since ive had the car there has been a vibrating noise between 2000 to 3000 rpm only notice able an 1st and 2nd gea. I suspected it was coming from exhaust heat shields so i bought a new system and didnt replace the heat shields but this didnt cure it. The only other thing I thought it could be was the gearbox mount so I untightend it made shure the mounts werent worn out then tightend it back up and this seemed to cure it:D. But a few months later it started to make the same noise again but realy faint and has progresivley gone back to how it was before:confused: Is there anything I can do to sort it, some polybushes maybe or even replace the mount? or is it even the gearbox mount. Any help would be much appreciated:)
 
I've got a 'zing' from my gearlever in my N16 when accelerating hard in any gear from about 2K RPM all the way to the rev limiter. It's almost stopped if I rest my hand on it.

I can't be bothered to look for the cause.
 
I think I started a post on this about a year ago.
My N16 gearbox/gearstick rattles whilst accelerating in 3rd and 5th gears (i.e. 'north' gears)

I had a mixture of responses, but Im not very technical when it comes to cars (I change bulbs, top up fluids etc), but have left it alone since.

I have noticed that a few N16 drivers have mentioned this but no definite answer to what the issue is.

My local Nissan dealership (remember they are owned by Renault) deny hearing anything during their 'test' run.

Now that my N16 is out of its 3-year warranty, my guess is that the will be able to diagnose the problem !!
