Trying it here...

I was bored last weekend so I ducttaped the bulletcam next to the
numberplate and took the Almera for a spin:

http://media.putfile.com/HH76

All political "uncorrect incidents" are deleted...

The mic was placed behind the numberplate - something I won't do
the next time - too much windnoise (and listen to the fanbelt at idle!!).

All this I can do - but take some simple pictures? No.. :) Well, I will, soon.

What do you think? With maybe a couple of more cameras and a car or two
to team up with you can make some pretty cool footage really easy...

Firefox didnt like it at all, but with IE ( ) i could see it fine. Quality vid, but i'd be shit scared of the camera falling off!

That was good  Didnt realise at first though that you were in Norway so was wondering what you were doing on the other side of the road

What bullet cam have you got? where from, cost and the usual questions?
Here it is:

http://www.rfconcepts.co.uk/sony_colour_ccd.htm

(Model 21CWSHR (Sony High res Super HAD CCD) £125 PAL, PAL 4.3mm lens,
scroll down half the page for pics of it.)

Basicly its a remote cam, so you need a regular dig-cam with a line-in option,
and an extra battery-pack. The main cam in my case is a bog-standard (and
old) Canon MVX-150i - which I placed near the airfilter in the enginebay.

The bulletcam is very light - so the ducttape had no problems keeping it in
place.

This is what I really bought it for:
http://www.reodor-racing.com/albums/test/rrz.mpg (Small one - 1,2 MB)

(Inboard-cam in the Porsche 944 I've been racing with.)

But we've had some other uses for it too... :) Paintball:
http://paintballparken.no/ ...bottom right; "Video(25mb) fra et spill".
(Bulletcam mounted above the mask - mic too, so I ended up yelling into the
mic. Oh well... It's argle-bargle to you anyway. )

Kinda cool - ended up with a live "first-person-shooter-video-game-look".

I'm rambling...

:appl: i can see it, what was the speech about at the start?
It's Iggy Pop doing the talking. The track is from GTA3 - the game.

Thought it would be cool with all that "This is my destiny"-crap.
(And it has a nice background beat...)

I saw the video for the first time today without headphones, and I have
messed things up. On a regular stereo-system with ordinary speakers the
engine/wind-noise totally drowns the music. But with headphones - as
the engine/wind-noise is mono and in the left channel - the music still
"survives" in the right channel.

Sooo, I should've put a "Only to be viewed with headphones"-sign in my
first post... :O

Thanks all! :)

The sound is a result of a KN57i-setup (very agressive intake-noise) and a
custommade exhaust from the cat and back.

Other things: Intrax ARS adjustable coilovers, OZ Superturismo with 215/45-16
Yokohama A-043s. Advanced timing and 98 octane ++...

It both sounds and grips like a beast.
