warning buzzer not working

2003 Nissan Almera Saloon N16 chasis. After battery was jump started, the warning buzzer that sounds if lights are left turned on after you take keys out of ignition stopped working, used to work just fine.

I have checked fuse box in car to right of steering wheel, these fuses all check out fine. I have also checked the fueses in a fuse box under the hood to the front right of the engine. (as you look down on the car). These check out also. Does anyone know what the problem is, or what to check, thank you. :)

Have the same thing with my car,
I managed to source a replacement buzzer from a local scrapyard and after a good deal of cursing and gymnastics, managed to swap it..........and it still doesn't work.
All fuses are ok, that's as far as I got, now I just make sure I don't leave the lights on. I might get around to actually testing it one day.

If you want to locate your buzzer you have to remove the panel under the steering column, the buzzer is a small green box with a round hole on the front, about 2" long and it's clipped to a metal support along with a couple of other relays, right about where your left shin is when you're driving.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Hi
There is a good chance its the door switch which is sticking. Its a small black push button in the driver side sill at about seat level. When the door closed it pushes it in, it runs a few things including telling the buzzer for the lights to ring if you have the door open and headlights on. If these are sticking the can make the buzzer work sometimes and others not. It may be stuck in the closed position. Try puling it out and see if the buzzer goes off. You can try lubricating it but this only worked temporarily for me had to buy a new switch from nissan 13 or 16 pounds. Dont know if you can switch the passenger side one for the driver side one they look similar but I suppose this doesnt mean they actually are. Flattened my battery twice coz of no buzzer :-)
