what to paint rocker with

i want to paint my rocker top in black and then sprinkle red metal flake on it , just wanted to know what sort of paint i would need and would i be able to laquer over the top to seal in the metal flake , any tips would be greatly recieved cheers lads

I used hammerite as well, super results, nice and glossy. The key to a good finish is in the preperation.....and lots of rubbing...

Where did you get your spray paint from? and was it just one coat or did it need a primer?
