Right Im getting the grinder out at the weekend to have a go at the rusty arches,can someone recommend a good rust inhibitor before i start slapping on the filler? I will post some pics of start/progress and finished job,should be interesting as i never done any bodywork in my life

Good luck mate, I used KURUST from halfords although there are probably better brands.

Kurust, then filler, then anti-rust primer.

Kurust is made by hammerite so its a good brand

i wouldnt just use a grinder neither to be honest

you can get a grinder adaptor that has sand discs on at like 80 grade

i would use this better as it will not be so rough on your body work

then Kurust , with a rust primer ontop of that
