Hi, First post!

I have just got a 2000 N16 Sport+ Almera and it's great! What I'd like to do is put a nice set of 17's on it and lower it a bit. Can anyone tell me what a sensible amount would be? I still want to be able to get people in the back without the wheels rubbing on every bump!

Also I allready have a set of 17's that I had on my old Pug 206, they are 4 stud as well, would they go straight on or would spacers be required?

Thanks for any help!!

First off, welcome.

Don't think pug wheels will fit the Almera (different PCD) Will double check though.

The most you can lower is 40mm with springs for the N16, although coilovers are available. Mine is lowered 35mm all round and on 18's so you'll be fine with 17's and lowering springs.

Recommended springs are Apex, as a fair few members will tell you. These only drop 35mm which is a nice height.

Thanks for your reply.

I was just a bit worried as with my Pug I lowered it as much as I could with 17s without doing any body work and it was a nightmare! (nobody in the back, no fat people in the passenger seat and couldnt go over 50 on country roads!!)

that is a great help thanks

Hey i think u will find that a 206 has 4x108 P.C.D.whereas the almera has 4x100 i think. Also i think the nissans central bore and offset are slightly different too.

Almera

My almera 2001 is a 4x114!! may not be same model tho...

The N16 almera has a p.c.d of 114*4 same as the P11 and maybe the P10 primera. The N15 almera has a p.c.d of 100*4.

Almera N16 - PCD 4 x 114 (114.3)

Same as Primera

Almera N15 is 4 x 100

As for size you can get 19's with super low profile typres and no rubbing, personally, get yorself a set of 18's look much better than 17's
